The Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers (ICNZB) are pleased to announce we have entered into a National Sponsorship agreement with KeyPay, a global provider of cloud payroll services.
KeyPay is an award winning, cloud-based workforce management and payroll platform that services over 200k businesses across New Zealand, Australia, UK, Singapore and Malaysia. Since launching in New Zealand in 2019, KeyPay is committed to saving time and streamlining processes for bookkeepers. As members of the Global Payroll Association and New Zealand Payroll Practitioners Association, their easy-to-use online payroll automates manual processes and ensures compliance with NZ legislation, such as the Holidays Act.
Irene Bennetts, President of ICNZB says: “It is a testament to our members that KeyPay has recognised ICNZB as a valued partner to help them drive the uptake of their product in the New Zealand market. After chatting with the KeyPay team at Xerocon recently, I can confidently say we are all very excited to be working together.”

George Loiterton, Global Head of Partnerships at KeyPay & Employment Hero, said: “We’re delighted to partner with ICNZB to provide trusted tools, resources and support for New Zealand bookkeepers and their growing businesses.
KeyPay is designed to simplify payroll and save time for bookkeepers and their SME clients. We hope that by partnering with ICNZB, we can change the perception of payroll - which has previously been overlooked as a revenue driver due to its complexities. We’re looking forward to helping ICNZB members to grow their client base, create additional revenue and help bookkeepers to add value to their services.”
The Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers was founded in 2010 to support the growing amount of New Zealand Bookkeepers and today supports in excess of 350 bookkeeping professionals across New Zealand, Australia and Fiji.
Irene comments “As seen in the 2022 Industry Benchmark Survey, 91% of bookkeepers are providing payroll as a standard service in their business. The sponsorship with KeyPay is a great fit to that demographic.”
