Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers

Two months to Bookkeepcon19!  we are looking forward to being there and having the opportunity to engage and spend time with you all.

Looking back over the last few months, payday filing has been the main focus, we are really pleased with how our solution has been embraced and is working well, it is also a timely reminder that you need to ensure your payroll certification is current by attending our payroll quarterly updates. Based on our research, and your feedback, our payroll team is working on improved tax and filing transparency, it is looking great!

One of our frequently asked questions is around making payroll changes and should the payday filing information be changed or deleted in MYIR. The answer is no, please let Xero Payroll update MYIR. The other question we are seeing is the difference between Xero Payroll and MYIR, there are some challenges at the moment with MYIR, please let Xero Payroll be the source of truth when reviewing how much to pay.

Education is moving

Also please remember to complete any partial XeroU courses before the 14th June, as our education system is moving across to a new platform which will be an improved experience under Xero Central. Don't worry we will keep in touch with communications around this.

 Bookkeepers Roadshow

A big shout out to Kiri and the organisation team for your first roadshows, Dan attended Auckland and I had the privilege of attending Christchurch. The organisation that went into these events was excellent, the content was well thought-out and we look forward to this type of event continuing.

The more I work with Hubdoc, the more impressed I am, the time saved using auto-fetch and auto data extraction is awesome along with the auto document management. Everything in one place!  For many of our small business and for you, obtaining and filing the source documentation can be a huge challenge. Our special offer of $1.00 per month for 6 months finishes on 31st May 2019, I encourage you to take a look and sign up before then. Hubdoc

All the best for your month ahead.
