Learning is Earning December 2018

With Christmas just around the corner, now is the perfect time for us to reflect on 2018. What have we learnt and what will we do differently next time? What did we achieve and what are we proud of?

It is also all about the planning for 2019. Setting goals, reviewing business plans, checking up on the business cash flow but most importantly looking at your professional development.

It is very easy to get caught up in doing business and professional development goes to the bottom of the "to do" list. But with all the changes happening in our industry we need to be keeping up today to ensure we do not fall behind. I have created a great calendar template where I can plan my professional development for the next 12 months. Ensuring I have at least one per month. I can then update my goals in my CPD register online. It is such a great tool and a great way to keep track throughout the year. Click here to read why CPD is important.

Just touching on CPD, coming into 2019 if you feel you are not quite there with your CPD and would like some assistance in making a plan, contact Education  so we can put a plan together to get you where you need to be.

Other great tools I use to help me be organised on a daily basis is a good old diary. There are many online apps these days and some really good ones such as Asana, but for me if I did not write it down, it did not happen. Everybody is different and it is about finding what works for you and stick with it. What will help you be more organised?

Wishing you a great 2019.

Kind regards
