ICNZB are working closely with the eInvoicing team at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to support them in their mission to educate New Zealand business owners about eInvoicing.

A common misconception is that many businesses think they’re eInvoicing when they’re sending or receiving a PDF via email. But that is not eInvoicing.

eInvoicing is the direct exchange of invoice information between your suppliers' or buyers' accounting or billing systems, even if those systems are different. It means no paper, no PDFs, no scanning and no emails.

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment have developed a survey for bookkeepers to help you learn more about eInvoicing, and let the team know how they can support you and your clients to move to eInvoicing.
