This award is designed to recognise the Bookkeeper who offers the best service to their clients over the last 12 months (1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018) and is a great Member of the business community

Bookkeeper Trainer of the Year - Gayle Buchanan Memorial Trophy

This award is designed to recognise the Bookkeeper who offers the best Bookkeeping training to their clients over the last 12 months  (1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018) (this is not the best software application trainer, this is about the principles of Bookkeeping and training emerging business owners, students and new Bookkeepers the value of our profession).

GoFi8ure

Bookkeeping Business of the Year

This is awarded to a Bookkeeping business that employs Bookkeeping staff. This practice will demonstrate how it has added significant value to its clients across a multiple of its Bookkeeping staff over the last 12 months (1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018).

Flexitime

Emerging Bookkeeper of the Year

This award is designed to recognise the Bookkeeper (sole practitioner) who has only started Bookkeeping in the last two years and offers the best service to their clients over the last 12 months (1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018).

Fee Funders

The Sustainable Business Award

The Sustainable Business Award recognises sole traders and businesses that use leading cloud products and services to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for their clients over the last 12 months (1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018).

Bookkeeping Community Contributor of the Year

This award is designed to recognise the Bookkeeper (Individual) who offers the best Bookkeeping contribution to their community over the last 12 months (1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018) (this is a leader, contributor, most valued partner in our community who demonstrates their community value above all over individual gain).

Who can enter?

Anyone who fits the criteria and fits the following descriptions can apply: Employees, Contractors, Sole Traders, and Business Owners.

What do you need to provide?

In your document please address any or all of the following criteria:

  • Achievements and successes in 2017 - 2018
  • Client testimonials
  • Why you deserve to win this award

Please provide a supporting document to explain why the entrant should win, answering the above criteria. Your application can include pictures and diagrams.

How to enter

Applications will need to be prepared and submitted to events@icbnzbai.org.nz by Friday 8th June 2018. 

You do not need to be an existing Member of the ICNZB to submit an award application, but you will need to attend the conference to meet the criteria.

When are the winners announced?

The awards are presented on Saturday 28th of July 2018 at the Gala dinner.
