How the Referral Program works

For every new member you recruit and who joins ICNZB as an active member, you earn an entry into the monthly prize draw and have a chance to win the annual grand prize.

Best of all, there is no limit to the number of entries you can have.

Here are a few more specifics:

Recruit new members. It's simple!

  1. Start a discussion emphasising the benefits and value of ICNZB membership. Think about why you joined and share your experiences with them. Be sure to refer them to our website so they can see for themselves the benefits they can get from joining.
  2. Share with your colleagues and/or professional network how your ICNZB membership has benefited you.
  3. Invite a potential new member to attend a local network meeting with you. Remember to ask them to register prior to attendance.
  4. Share announcements of upcoming events and meetings with your networks – either personally or through your business pages.

Win a monthly prize

Other than the satisfaction of knowing you are helping our organisation grow and develop, as the referring member, you will go in the drawer to win a monthly prize:

  • 50% discount on your membership renewal; or
  • prize pack from one of our supporters or sponsors

Annual grand prize

Over the year we will collect details of all successful membership referrals. At the end of the year, the person with the most successful referrals will win a free ticket to the next #Bookkeepcon event of your choosing.

When does the program run?

The membership referral program is run annually from 1 April to 31 March. The grand prize winner will be announced annually in April following the close of the program for that year.

Referral Program guidelines

  1. Who can refer?
    Only those members with a Certified Bookkeeper, Employee Certified Bookkeeper, Associate or Student membership during the month of the draw are eligible to receive entry into the monthly and annual prize draw. Accredited Bookkeeping Business Members are not eligible to enter the draw.
  2. Who can be referred?
    Anyone can be referred to ICNZB, but entry into the prize draw will only count if the referral results in a membership being purchased.
  3. How does ICNZB track if I referred someone?
    Once you submit a referral below, we will track the name of your potential member on our database and match it against new memberships.
  4. If I win the free membership in the monthly draw, how do I redeem this?
    At the time of winning the monthly prize draw you choose whether you would like a 50% discount off your next renewal, or a prize pack. If you choose the discount, you will be provided with a unique 50% discount voucher code to use at the time of renewing your membership. You are able to use this discount voucher at any time prior to your membership expiring.
  5. Are there any other restrictions?
    The monthly and annual prize offerings are not redeemable for cash.
