Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great” ~ Zig Ziglar

Education is a core vision of the association and it is something that we are passionate about for our members.  Your continued development and growth as a bookkeeper is what shows the nation the value of the bookkeeping industry.

No matter how much experience you have, or how good your business reputation is – there is always something new to learn.

If you have any questions about the content on this page, please contact us by email at info@icnzb.org.nz

Membership assessments

The aim of the membership assessments is to ensure individuals seeking membership have demonstrated knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles, and how to perform regular bookkeeping functions.

This assessments recognises the competency of our individual members and is not a learning platform.  ICNZB does not teach bookkeeping.

Our Provisional Membership is instant and does not require an individual to pass an assessment.  If you would like to progress up the levels you will need to pass the assessment for each level.

To book in for an assessment, go to your MyICB and then Membership Assessments.  Only assessments you are eligible to sit will be shown here.
